As Christians we are concerned about what a certain ministry may believe before we become associated with it. So, here are the "Articles of Faith" for Spirit & Sword Ministries.

1.  There is one true God, maker of heaven and earth, all things visible and invisible. He is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. This Godhead exists in 3 persons, co-equal, co-eternal, and in unity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

2.  Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God the Father as is written in the Holy Scriptures, born of a virgin. He suffered, bled, and died on a cross for the sin of all mankind. He was buried and rose again from the dead. All who believe and receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, will be saved from eternal death. Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life. No one can go to the Father God in heaven without believing and receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior. Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone. He ascended to heaven, sits at the right hand of God Almighty, and will return again (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:89; John 14:6; John 1:12; Romans 10:9-10; John 3:16; Matthew 1:20-23; Philippians 2:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 14:2-3).

3.  The Bible (scriptures) is the infallible and incorruptible Word of God (1 Peter 1:23, 25; 2 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 4:4).

4.  The Holy Spirit (Ghost) is the third person of the Godhead (Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost). He is the Spirit of truth. He was sent into the world by God the Father to dwell in man's spirit as comforter, counselor, helper, reprover, teacher, and to guide us into all truth. He dwells in man's heart (spirit) when one receives Jesus Christ as Savior. The Holy Spirit also has the power of God and releases power and gifts unto those who believe, that anointing and miracles may be done in the name of Christ Jesus, giving glory and honor to God the Father and Jesus the Son (John 14:16-17; John 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9, 14, 26-27; 1 Corinthians 12).
