  I believe it was said by the communists, "Give our literature to children at a young age, and by adulthood, their minds will be shaped to accept the communist theology."

  In Haiti, we are using a Bible Correspondence Course, a four-page newsletter, and several books, all in the Creole language, to reach not just the Haitian Church Leaders - Pastors, Elders, Deacons, etc., but also the future Haitian Church leaders.

  In the rural areas of Haiti (most of the country), the believers do not have an opportunity to attend a Bible School, nor can they receive Christian literature by mail. No mail system! So we at Spirit & Sword have tried to fill this void with Bible based literature for the believer.

  As you click on one of the above links, you will see a more detailed description of each of our literature outreaches. We do charge the Haitians a small price for the Correspondence Course and the books. But the Journal is free. All of the literature is printed and assembled here at our stateside office and then shipped to our Haitian office. From there each piece is hand-delivered by one of our employees or is picked up at our office.

   In addition to the literature, we also began a teaching tape outreach. Each seminar for the pastors and church leaders is taped and offered to those who attended and also through the Journal. A small price is also asked for each tape. Over 100 tapes were sold at the last seminar! As with the Journal and the Courses, the tape outreach is also new for Haiti. There is certainly a hunger in Haiti for material and the Lord is using us to help fill that craving.
